Now that you have a gummy bear for dinner, you may want to make some trail meat for a trail dinner.
Gummy bears can be made without meat, which is a great idea if you have meat on hand or can easily cut into them.
However, you can also make a gumbo bear, which contains meat in a smaller amount.
The following recipe for gummy bears is from Gummy Bear Recipe and Cooking Book by Melissa McWilliams.
I used 1 cup of sweet potato for the filling, but you can substitute any variety of sweet potatoes, such as sweet potatoes from the garden, corn, and potatoes.
I also used chicken broth or broth from the store, which has a higher fat content than chicken stock.
Cook the meat in the crock pot or pressure cooker.
Add the onion and garlic, and saute until soft.
Add in the chicken broth, the tomato paste, and the cumin.
Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
Remove the meat from the pressure cooker and add the spices, cumin, and black pepper.
Add the chicken stock and the canned tomatoes.
Add to the meat mixture and stir well.
Add salt and pepper.
Stir well to combine.
Cook on high for 30 minutes.
To make a trail meat, stir in the cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
Serve the gummy, stuffed, or frozen bears with fresh or frozen vegetables.
